Origins and importance

Dodoria is one of the two lieutenants and personal bodyguards of Freezer, between Zarbon, only surpassed in rank by the Special Forces (Ginyu Tokusentai).

Although normally he realises his functions as bodyguard and does not separate of Freezer, he is also the leader of an assault party, to which from time to time Freezer orders missions.

The skin of Dodoria is pink coloured, and his physical appearance, totally opposite to Zarbon ones. Dodoria is not athletic at all, but rather the one of an obese being. The body of Dodoria is anatomically prepared for the combat. It owns one hard bony layer in his skull that allows to defend himself and to attack well with the head, manifolds and small horns included. In addition, Dodoria owns a mixture of hands and claws, that allow him not only to attack with force, but also, to tear to his adversaries.

According to scouter, Dodoria owned a force battle or Ki, of around 18,000 units, that allowed him to show his high rank in the army of Freezer.

History

The history of Dodoria, like soldier of Freezer, goes back years at the beginning of Dragon Ball, when the tyrant decided to annihilate to saiya-jin race. For that one then, Dodoria already was a lieutenant of Freezer.

He was the leader of the assault party exterminated to Seripa and the rest of companions of Bardock, and Dodoria himself defeated the father of Kakarotto, although he was reprimanded by not to have assured to finish him.

Some years later, during the invasion of Namek, Dodoria accompanied Freezer and next to him he killed tens of Namekusei-jin, until he met Vegeta, totally ready to take revenge the atrocities that Dodoria committed against saiya-jin, and his own pride to the being humiliated by Dodoria during years.

Unfortunately for him, while Dodoria had taken care to hold his own position respect to Freezer, Vegeta had battled continuously, and thanks to that, and to his battle in Earth against Son Gokuh, increased his power over Dodoria level, finishing him with extreme facility.

In last time, Dodoria not only showed his cowardice when offering to him alliance Vegeta to save the life, but also revealed crucial information to Vegeta, on the destiny that his planet underwent, and the fear that Freezer had to the Saiya-jin, because of their joint power and the legend of the Super Saiya-jin.
